AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL, seeks a Clinical Documentation Specialist to improve documentation quality and coding accuracy across inpatient records. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure complete, compliant documentation that supports patient care and reimbursement.

You will lead education, participate in departmental meetings, and mentor new hires while maintaining high productivity and audit scores.

• Communicates with physicians and providers to ensure complete clinical documentation.
• Collaborates with health info management to resolve coding discrepancies.
• Performs timely follow-up reviews on cases with clarifications.
• Participates in department meetings and mentorship of new hires.
• Maintains proficiency and participates in continuing education.
• Maintains productivity standards and compliance audit scores.
• Ensures high physician response rate to clarifications.
• Participates in Advanced Practice call annually.
• Reviews medical records for documentation accuracy and completeness.
• Inputs data accurately into software for reliable metrics.
