Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a CDS Supervisor to lead the clinical documentation improvement program and supervise CDS staff. You will coordinate with CDI/Data Quality leadership to align efforts across departments and staff.

You will work with the medical staff to improve documentation quality, develop processes, and ensure timely, accurate coding and reporting in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine/Surgery or licensed clinician (PA/RN).
• At least 2 years as a clinical documentation specialist.
• Knowledge of nursing care, clinical outcomes and coding structures.
• CCS certification or within 6 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve the clinical documentation improvement program.
• Supervise CDS staff and coordinate with CDI/Data Quality leadership.
• Collaborate with medical staff to enhance documentation quality.
• Develop programs and databases to support CDI activities.
