Job summary

Paradigm Recovery Center seeks an experienced Clinical Director to lead the clinical development and daily operations of a startup substance use disorder treatment program offering ASAM 2.1 and 2.5 levels of care. You will supervise clinicians, ensure DMH regulatory compliance, and shape a person-centered treatment culture.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and collaborative clinical approach, with oversight of documentation, care coordination, and ongoing staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment.
• Strong knowledge of ASAM Criteria (2.1 & 2.5) and Missouri DMH regulations.
• Prior experience in PHP and/or IOP settings.
• Experience with audits, licensing surveys, or accreditation preparation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical leadership for ASAM 2.1 and 2.5 programs.
• Develop, implement, and oversee clinical programming, treatment schedules, and therapeutic modalities.
• Ensure treatment services align with ASAM Criteria, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care principles.
• Participate in start-up planning, including policies & procedures, workflows, and program structure.
• Oversee intake, assessment, treatment planning, continued stay, and discharge processes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
• Ensure individualized, culturally responsive, and client-centered care.
• Support continuity of care and coordination with referral sources and community partners.
