Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a Clinical Director-Operating Room to provide strategic and operational leadership for OR services, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and alignment with MLH mission and values.

You will recruit and coach nursing staff, oversee staffing and budgets, drive performance improvement, and lead adoption of new technologies to enhance care delivery and efficiency. A BSN and prior OR leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• 3+ years of Operating Room or acute care experience.
• Some leadership or supervisory experience.

• Coaches PCCs in effective leadership and team management to optimize care delivery.
• Drives associate engagement and retention through positive work environments and recognition of performance.
• Oversees staffing models, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective workforce utilization.
• Participates in annual budget planning and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitors financial performance, analyzes variances, and implements corrective actions to meet fiscal targets.
• Utilizes data from financial and clinical systems to inform strategic growth and service development.
• Maintains regulatory and accreditation readiness across all service areas.
• Proactively identifies and addresses environmental and equipment needs to support safe, efficient patient care.
• Leads implementation of new technologies and operational projects to enhance care delivery and efficiency.
• Serves as a role model for nursing professionalism, ethics, and clinical excellence.
• Pursues advanced certifications and participates in professional organizations at local and regional levels.
