Clinical Director- Quality Management

RN/NP/MD

The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, seeks a full time Director for Quality Management. This individual will support the skilled nursing facility and additional health care community entities.

This position will lead all aspects of quality (performance) improvement activities for the organization, overseeing/coordinating all activities of the organization relating to regulatory and external compliance requirements. Acts as a resource for regulatory standards interpretation/application, including internal audits for regulatory compliance.

Candidates will bring strong leadership experience, organizational skills, to ensure operational objectives are met or exceeded. Additionally, the selected candidate will have a results-oriented focus, with a collaborative style to achieve goals with other team members. Candidates must be a Licensed Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Master's Degree in relevant health field a plus. CPHQ certification a plus. Candidates with 5+ years clinical experience, and/or quality assurance or quality management experience, along with a thorough understanding and knowledge of TQM principles/practices, including familiarity with Federal and State Post-Acute Care codes/regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree (preferred) in relevant health field.
  • CPHQ certification a plus.
  • At least five years' clinical nursing experience and quality assurance or quality management experience.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of and understanding of TQM principles and practices.
  • Must be familiar with State DOH, and all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Must have excellent verbal and communication skills.
