Job summary

Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur, IL seeks an experienced Clinical Director to lead and supervise our Community Housing programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for individuals with mental health or substance use diagnoses.

The role blends clinical leadership with program management, data oversight, and community collaboration to improve linkage with local providers and services.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple programs and with diverse staff teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and oversight to Program Managers and teams across all community housing programs.
• Lead staff development and trauma-informed, person-centered care initiatives.
• Support assessment, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination as a working clinical leader.
• Ensure clinical activities comply with organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee data management, including reporting and monitoring of performance measures.
• Monitor staffing needs and participate in hiring and orientation of new staff.
• Facilitate client referral and linkage to programs.
• Attend Heritage program meetings to support collaborative care.
• Lead community-based meetings and coordinate communication with area providers.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners to support linkage within the service area.
