Job summary

Children's Specialized ABA in Union City, NJ is seeking a Clinical Director to lead clinical operations, mentor BCBAs and behavior technicians, and shape evidence-based programming for children with autism.

You'll collaborate with the Regional Clinical Director, oversee ABA programming fidelity, analyze clinical data, and ensure high-quality care while supporting staff development and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
• BCBA and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) licensure (Maryland).
• Minimum 3 years BCBA experience, including staff supervision.
• Completion of BACB supervision training.
• Ability to meet physical demands of working with young children (e.g., bending, floor play, lifting up to 40 lbs).
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: oversee development and fidelity of ABA programming across the center.
• Review and analyze clinical data to drive continuous improvement.
• Supervise BCBAs and RBTs through observation, coaching, and feedback.
• Guide onboarding and development for all new clinical team members.
• Collaborate with the Center Administrator on daily operations.
• Lead monthly BCBA meetings and foster a culture of learning and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with BACB supervision and ethical standards.
• Partner with families, caregivers, and professionals to create individualized, consistent care plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care with allied professionals.
• Maintain open, compassionate communication with families throughout the treatment journey.

Education

As Clinical Director, you will lead clinical operations and ensure high-quality services for children in their most critical developmental years. What You'll Do

Work Location & Hours

This is a full-time position out of our Union City, NJ Early Intervention Center, and typical working hours are M-F 9.00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $115,000 - $125,000 annually.

Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity. All offers are made in alignment with applicable federal and state laws.
