Position Summary
Person in this position will be responsible for clinical and programmatic leadership of all programs in the region. Will assist Directors with program development, performance improvement and training for all services delivered in treatment and prevention continuum. Essential Job Functions include those listed below. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide clinical oversight and assistance to all treatment programs in the region.
- Assist the Vice President and management staff with the design of treatment programming.
- Develop and monitor the development of policy manuals for treatment programs.
- Be responsible for improvement of program designs by assuring the implementation of Performance Improvement (PI) standards, evaluations and outcome measures.
- Prepare and deliver mandatory training required by contracts and licensure.
- Work with Chief Clinical Officer to implement evidence-based programming.
- Coordinate clinical activity adhering to accreditation standards.
- Review and aggregate clinical data and outcomes to identify clinical trends and provide analysis to the Regional Vice President.
- Assist in grant planning and initiation of potential additional funding opportunities as required.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Supervise Master and PhD level interns.
Certifications / Licenses
- Must be licensed as LCSW, LMFT, LPC or any other equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare vehicle insurance.
- Must have CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an Annual Tuberculosis test.
Education
- Graduation from an accredited four‑year college with a degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related field is preferred.
Experience and Competencies
- Experience in program coordination and training including both youth and adults.
- Must have 3 years of experience in supervision and management.
- Experience with Joint Commission on Accreditation (JCAHO) or Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) is preferred.
- Excellent teaching and training skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft products.
- Licensed social worker preferred.
