Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Licensure: LCADC and CCS.
• LPC or LCSW with supervisory credential preferred.
• 5–7 years of clinical management experience.
• Proven success in operational performance and driving clinical outcomes.
• Strong oral and written communication and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical strategies and programs.
• Supervise and mentor clinical staff with emphasis on quality assurance and evidence-based practice.
• Represent RCA as a clinical spokesperson to external organizations and associations.
• Troubleshoot clinically-related challenges and roll out quality-improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate on new clinical services and partnerships responsive to healthcare reforms.
• Develop procedures to gather staff/patient feedback to refine practices.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of clinical talent.

Position Overview

As the Director of Substance Abuse Counseling Services, you will play a crucial role in the oversight, development, and management of the clinical department. You’ll lead initiatives aimed at improving clinical quality, collaborating with senior leadership, and ensuring that our programs are responsive to the evolving needs of our clients. This is a leadership role where your experience and vision will directly shape the success of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical strategies and programs at RCA.
• Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures and a scientific approach to clinical activities.
• Represent RCA as a clinical spokesperson at external organizations and associations.
• Troubleshoot clinically-related challenges and roll out initiatives to improve service quality.
• Collaborate on the development of new clinical services, partnerships, and care delivery models in response to healthcare reforms.
• Implement procedures to gather timely feedback from both staff and patients to refine clinical practices.
• Oversee the hiring, training, and retention of top clinical talent and ensure effective performance management.

Qualifications

• Required: Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• Licensure: Must have LCADC and CCS
• LPC or LCSW licensure with supervisory credential preferred.
• 5-7 years of clinical management experience, leading teams and managing processes.
• Proven success in operational performance and a track record of driving clinical outcomes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire staff.
