Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Director to provide clinical oversight of the Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program in Somerset County.

The role includes supervision of master's level therapists, development of Individualized Service Plans, and delivery of individual and family counseling as needed. Responsibilities include monitoring service quality, ensuring compliance with PA Medicaid and YAP standards, and coordinating services in office and in the field.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree required.
  • Valid licensure in PA as LCSW/LPC/LMFT.
  • Minimum 2 years mental health therapy experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Job description

Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week; Flexible Schedule; some occasional evenings and weekends may be needed.

Summary of the Position: The Clinical Director is responsible for clinical oversight of the Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) Program in Somerset County, including the provision of participant services and personnel supervision both in the office and in the field.

  • The Clinical Director oversees the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans, supervises master's level therapists, and provides individual, and family counseling as needed.
  • The Clinical Director will assist in monitoring the quality of client services and adhering to set service delivery levels.
  • All services are provided consistent with YAP’s individualized, strengths-based, family-focused philosophy and in compliance with PA Medicaid and YAP standards, as well as all state and federal regulations governing the delivery of service.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Master's degree is required.
  • Valid licensure in the State of PA as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or
  • One-year full-time postgraduate experience in provision of mental health services is required.
  • Experience with Family Based Therapy preferred.
  • Experience in the provision and supervision of behavioral health services.
  • Experience in the provision of home and community-based services.
  • Experience with Crisis Response is preferred
  • Experience with Ecosystemic Therapy model preferred.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years Mental Health Therapy Experience
  • CPR/First Aid Certification is a plus.
  • Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with electronical health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance coverage.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
