  • Coordinates with external clinicians, medical director, and nursing staff on treatment and medication needs.

  • Collaborates with Program Director on clinical program development and service delivery.
  • Audits client charts for compliance and accuracy in documentation.
  • Provides consultation and education to community organizations and agencies.
  • Participates in program development and supports staff with complex cases and psychiatric emergencies.
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and professional boundaries.
  • Supports department budgeting and may assist in budget development.
  • Performs administrative duties aligned with program needs.
  • Attends staff and planning meetings as required.

About The Role The Clinical Manager is responsible for directly supervising clinical staff and overseeing services at a designated site to ensure mental health treatment is delivered in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment. This role includes oversight of individual and group counseling services, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations, and supporting recovery-oriented care for youth and families. The position is part of the Kickstart program, which focuses on early intervention and prevention of psychosis for individuals ages 12 to 40.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Licensed LCSW, MFT, or Clinical Psychologist eligible to practice independently (two years post-licensure preferred)
  • Minimum five years of experience in inpatient, outpatient, or mental health care
  • At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • Experience in clinical care, case management, and group leadership
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation philosophy; Short Doyle knowledge preferred
  • Strong leadership, clinical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and proof of education required
