Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Clinical Director for Sleep Medicine to lead all clinical operations of our sleep center. You will supervise clinical staff, optimize scheduling, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in patient experience and outcomes.

This role is on-site in Los Angeles and requires hands-on leadership during evenings or overnight shifts. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in sleep medicine leadership, knowledge of AASM standards, and strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• RPSGT or RST strongly preferred; advanced clinical credentials a plus.
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in sleep medicine or diagnostic healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of AASM standards, sleep study workflows, and clinical best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

Clinical Director – Sleep Medicine Clinic

About the Role

The Clinical Director oversees all clinical operations of the sleep center, ensuring high‑quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient workflow across diagnostic sleep services. This leader is responsible for supervising clinical staff, optimizing scheduling, and driving continuous improvement in patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Operations Leadership

• Oversee nightly sleep study operations (PSG, HST, MSLT) to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical protocols, SOPs, and quality‑assurance programs.
• Monitor scoring accuracy, documentation quality, and technician performance.
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management.

Staff Management & Development

• Lead, train, and mentor sleep technicians.
• Conduct performance evaluations, competency assessments, and ongoing education.
• Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient patient flow.
• Foster a positive, professional, patient‑centered culture.

Patient Care & Experience

• Ensure timely follow‑up, report delivery, and coordination with referring providers.
• Address escalated patient concerns, clinical questions, and operational issues.
• Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for all patients.

Operational Strategy & Performance

• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic growth.
• Support expansion of services, new technology adoption, and clinical program development.

• Tentative schedule 2:30pm-11:00pm M‑F, some weekend coverage may be required.
