Job summary

Advanced Surgery Center of North County in Escondido, CA is seeking a Clinical Director to lead day-to-day operations of the OR, Pre-OP/PACU, and SPD, driving efficiency and patient satisfaction.

The role reports to the ASC Administrator, oversees credentialing and risk management, and mentors staff to enhance care and outcomes. Schedule is Monday through Friday with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing. BSN or higher degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in California.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in surgery setting; ASC experience is a plus.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
• Current certification in BLS and ACLS accredited by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of clinical areas (OR, Pre-OP/PACU, SPD).
• Collaborate with ASC Administrator to promote fiscal accountability and policy development.

Advanced Surgery Center of North County is seeking a motivated Clinical Director to join our established team.

Advanced Surgery Center of North County is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes for patients and their families. We are located in Escondido, CA.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the clinical areas (including OR, Pre-OP/PACU, and SPD) and implements process initiatives to improve efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Director will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Clinical Director will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

• Monday-Friday work schedule
• NO call schedule required
• NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

The starting pay range is $124,800 - $175,000 annually, depending on experience.

Required Skills:
