Ocean View is seeking a Clinical Director in Colton, CA to provide strategic clinical leadership across child and adolescent mental health services. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure adherence to trauma-informed care, and drive program development and quality of care.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Active California licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist).
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health, with at least 2 years in leadership.
  • Experience in child and adolescent mental health required.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Demonstrated sound professional judgment; clinical judgment where applicable to licensure/role.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and standard keyboard functions for data entry and electronic documentation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
  • Current CPR, BLS, and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within90 days of employment
  • Demonstrate understanding and compliance with Patients’ Rights, LPS Statutes, and Seclusion and Restraint Protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight of all treatment services, including individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Supervise and support licensed clinicians, social services staff, and program leads.
  • Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices, trauma-informed care, and age-appropriate interventions.
  • Oversee treatment planning, documentation quality, and clinical outcomes.
  • Partner with Medical Director and Nursing leadership to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Develop and implement new programs and service lines as the facility grows.
  • Ensure compliance with DHCS, Joint Commission, and applicable regulations.
  • Monitor LOS, readmissions, and patient outcomes.
  • Lead clinical audits and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and ongoing development of clinical staff.

Position Summary

The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall clinical leadership, program development, and quality of patient care services within the Child & Adolescent psychiatric facility. This role ensures the delivery of evidence-based, trauma-informed care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. The Clinical Director oversees all clinical programming and supervises multidisciplinary treatment teams.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
