The Department of Human Services is seeking a dynamic Clinical Dietitian to join our dedicated dietary services team. In this vital role, you will oversee the planning and organization of nutritional care for residents at Warren State Hospital. In this position, you will oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive patient nutrition care program. Responsibilities include conducting nutritional assessments, providing diet counseling, documenting patient charts, participating in treatment teams, offering discharge counseling, and leading nutritional education initiatives. You will also create modified diets, adjust recipes, and educate individuals and families on key nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection, preparation, and storage. Additionally, you will monitor and evaluate food service quality assurance, quality control, and improvement efforts, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Utilizing food service software to ensure diet accuracy as prescribed by physicians is also essential.

Special Requirement: Certification as a Registered Dietitian as defined by the American Dietetic Association or proof of eligibility for such certification.
