Job summary

TouchPoint in Austin, TX, is seeking a Dietitian, Specialist to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy at Ascension Seton Austin within an acute care environment. The role focuses on patient-centered nutrition care and collaborative teamwork with the hospital nutrition and food service teams.

The ideal candidate holds an RD credential, with licensed practice in Texas and specialty certification as applicable. Two years of specialty experience is preferred; schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Specialty certification when required
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Assess and develop nutrition care plans for patients in a designated specialty area
• Education: Guide nutrition and lifestyle strategies for patients, families, staff, and community
• Evidence-Based Practice: Align care with the latest research and diet manual
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives for patient care
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction
• Mentorship: Support growth of dietetic interns through education and training
