Description
This is a full time, day shift position for Riley Hospital for Children in downtown Indianapolis, IN.
Provides optimal nutrition care for inpatients and outpatients, utilizing the Nutrition Care Process, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The Nutrition Care Process includes nutritional assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention, and nutrition monitoring and evaluation. Incumbent also plans, organizes, implements and evaluates nutrition education individualized to the patient/client needs; precepts dietetics and other health professional students; independently orders diets, supplements and tube feedings as approved by Medical Staff Office at each facility.
- Bachelors degree or higher in dietetics or a related field required
- All current Registered Dietitians must maintain Indiana certification until next renewal period.
- Effective January 1, 2021 all dietitians must have an active Indiana license - Team Member must obtain IN Dietitian license by 6 months of hire date
- Team Member must obtain Dietitian Registration within 6 months of hire date.
- Ability to develop medical care plans.
