Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
- Licensed Dietitian (or ability to obtain licensure) in the practicing state.
- Healthcare experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Nutrition Care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Education: advise on nutrition and lifestyle for patients, families, staff, and community.
- Evidence-based Practice: apply current research in line with diet manual and facility protocols.
- Quality & Performance Improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives to improve patient care.
- Collaboration: work with food service management to meet patient satisfaction and service goals.
- Mentorship & Development: support growth of staff and dietetic interns where applicable.
