Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated dietitian to promote health through personalized nutrition plans. You will assess nutritional needs, develop dietary plans, and educate patients on healthy eating.

Instruct patients on post-discharge diets and monitor progress within a post-acute care setting. Qualified candidates hold an RD credential with state licensure and may have Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership.

Qualifications

• RD credential and state licensure required or preferred depending on position.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition required as minimum education.
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred.
• One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized dietary plans.
• Instruct patients on post-discharge diets and monitor nutrition status.
• Educate patients about healthy eating habits and nutrition goals.
• Document nutrition care in the medical record and adjust plans as needed.
