Job summary

Intermountain Health in Billings, MT is recruiting an RD/RDN to deliver MNT in acute care settings and advanced nutrition support for specialty populations. You will apply the Nutrition Care Process, provide counseling, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The role offers structured onboarding, mentorship, and a clear path to Clinical Dietitian Specialist, with travel optional sign‑on and relocation support as applicable.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential with CDR or eligible and must pass exam within 6 months of hire.
• ACEND accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics/Internship or equivalent.
• State licensure or certification as required.
• Master's degree preferred for newer grads (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) as an RD/RDN in acute care and specialty populations.
• Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess and manage nutrition needs.
• Provide advanced nutrition counseling to support behavior change and outcomes.
• Mentor dietetic interns and staff; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Discharge planning and continuity of nutrition care, including DME as needed.
