Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Dietitian, the Clinical Dietitian - Provisional provides services in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. In conjunction with the Registered Dietitian, develops and implements nutritional assessments and care plans for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Acts as a liaison between Medical staff, nursing staff and other ancillary departments. Responsibilities involve providing nutritional counseling to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications
  1. Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Foods and Nutrition and completion of a Dietetic Internship.
  2. Current provisional licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.
  3. Must obtain registration and licensure by passing the Registered Dietitian exam within 6 months of hire.
  4. PREFERRED: Master’s degree in food and nutrition.
