Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition/dietetics and completion of ACEND-accredited supervised practice.
• RD/RDN certification and Georgia licensure within six months of hire.
• One to two years of clinical experience preferred, with proficiency in electronic medical records and foodservice systems.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

The Clinical Dietitian practices as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide medical nutrition therapy, ensuring continuity of care across all phases. Responsibilities include conducting nutrition assessments, developing and implementing personalized nutrition care plans, and evaluating their effectiveness. The role involves performing nutrition-focused physical exams, managing enteral nutrition support, and providing education to patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition interventions. The Dietitian utilizes evidence-based research, adheres to professional and regulatory standards, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Mentoring dietetic interns and engaging in ongoing professional development are also key components.

Qualifications & Skills:
