Qualifications

• Counsel patients per physician orders and diet instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other care disciplines in patient care.
• Evaluate referral orders to determine nutrition intake adequacy.

Responsibilities

• Document pertinent information in the patient’s medical record according to standards.
• Implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with dietary needs.
• Conduct calorie counts and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Review, revise, and sign menus for nutritional adequacy.
