Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate patient nutritional care.
• Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness.
• Provides nutrition education to patients and families.
• Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in developing a hospital formulary suitable for the patient population.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Registered Dietitian Required (CMS requirement).
• One year healthcare experience desirable.
