Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in dietetics or related field.
• Entry level experience in clinical nutrition settings.
• PC skills and basic computing proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Directs dietary care of patients with basic nutrition needs, including screening and care planning.
• Educates medical staff and counsels patients and families on proper nutritional care.
• Promotes and manages nutrition programs per hospital standards and policies.
• Collaborates with culinary and clinical departments on diets and menu requests.
• Keeps current with nutrition trends, research, and standards of practice.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state/local regulations and HIPAA policies.
