Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at the Cortlandt Manor location. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve patients’ quality of life in line with their goals. This is a non-exempt, hourly position.

You will provide nutrition expertise to the care team, educate patients and staff, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations while contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a national certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligibility per Academy guidelines.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years, with portfolio development.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements for Dietitians.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and resident rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up policies for dining services and nutrition.
• Actively participate in developing and reviewing quality improvement programs.
