Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s Medical City Arlington seeks a Full Time Clinical Dietitian to coordinate patient nutritional care under the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. You will participate on the Nutrition Support Team with pharmacists and physicians to ensure safe, effective therapy and patient outcomes.

You will screen and assess patients, educate on therapeutic diets, guide aides on diet restrictions, and document tolerance and responses to nutritional support.

Qualifications

• Commission Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
• Licensed Dietitian must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient nutritional care under supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
• Provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
• Educate patients on therapeutic diets.
• Inform Aide staff on diet allowances based on prescribed diets.
• Document patient tolerance, response to nutritional support, and make recommendations.
