Job summary

Medical City Plano is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to coordinate patient nutrition under the supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. You will join a Nutrition Support Team with pharmacists and physicians to deliver comprehensive care.

The role requires delivering nutritional assessments, educating patients on therapeutic diets, and documenting patient response to nutrition support while collaborating with care teams.

Qualifications

• Commission Dietetic Registration required.
• Licensed Dietitian must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient nutritional care under the Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
• Perform nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
• Educate patients on therapeutic diets and diet plans.
• Document tolerance, response to nutrition support and make recommendations.
