Tenet Healthcare is seeking a nutrition professional to provide clinical nutrition support and oversight within patient care. The role involves monitoring therapeutic diets, coordinating diet office activities, and collaborating with physicians and care teams to assess and meet nutritional needs.

The position requires a B.S. in nutrition-related field and registration eligibility with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, with registration to be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food, nutrition, or institutional management from an accredited college.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (CDR); must obtain within 6 months.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Provides clinical nutrition support and monitors nutritional care for patients.
• Directs, supervises and coordinates diet office activities and utilizes information from patient records for nutritional assessment.
• Makes recommendations to physicians and health care team regarding patient nutrition status.
• Provides education to patient and family members and develops nutritional care policies and procedures.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
