Brown University Health is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide in-hospital nutrition care to patients at Rhode Island Hospital. You will interview patients, assess nutrition needs, develop plans, and document progress in the EHR under supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition, ACEND‑accredited supervised practice, and Rhode Island licensure (or eligible and able to obtain within 3 months).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field from an accredited program.
• ACEND‑accredited supervised practice and passage of the RDN exam; RI licensure.
• If eligible for registration, provide documentation and obtain RI license within 3 months.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and family nutrition needs and develop plans of care.
• Review NFPE findings and nutrition-focused data to refine diagnoses and care plans.
• Document nutrition plans and updates in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning and quality improvement.
