Brown University Health in Providence, RI, is seeking a Clinical Dietitian support role under the supervision of senior staff. You will collect nutrition histories, adjust meals for prescribed diets, monitor menu choices, and conduct meal rounds with patients and families to support nutrition care plans.

You will collaborate with Cardiac Rehab teams, review intake information, document in the EHR, and assist in education sessions. Strong communication and ACEND program eligibility are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition/dietetics and completion of an ACEND Didactic Program in Dietetics.
• Evidence of Safe Serve Certification.
• Strong understanding of nutrition science and evidence-based practice.
• Oral and written communication skills to work with patients, families and staff.
• Ability to develop nutrition care plans and monitor progress.

Mansioni

• Collaborates with the clinical dietitian and chef for dietary guidelines and education sessions.
• Collects and reviews food and nutrient intake information.
• Obtains anthropometric information from medical records or interviews.
• Reviews nutrition risk assessments and documents feedback in the EHR.
• Provides nutrition interventions and education as directed by the Clinical Dietitian.
• Responds to patient inquiries regarding interventions within scope of practice.
• Ensures interventions are implemented and patient needs are met.
• Monitors nutrition through recalls, analysis, and reinforcement.
• Meets with patients and families to discuss progress and revise plans as needed.
• Delivers individual and group education and prepares patients for long-term dietary changes.
