Job summary

Qualifications

• Fulfillment of US citizenship requirement.
• Must be registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Registered Dietitian (RD) through CDR.
• For GS-07/GS-09, may be non-credentialed with temporary appointment and later credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive nutrition assessments using the Nutritional Care Process (NCP).
• Develops and implements Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to address nutrition diagnoses and monitor outcomes.
• Documents MNT in medical records using ADIME format.
• Utilizes virtual care technology to improve access to care.
• Collaborates with Food Operations and clinical leadership to enhance dining experiences and patient satisfaction.
