Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage medical nutrition therapy across patient care. You will lead a nutrition care plan, collaborate with the care team, and ensure adherence to professional standards.

Responsibilities include delivering nutrition interventions, supervising interns, and contributing to quality improvement and education initiatives for patients and staff nationally recognized for workplace excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University Program.
• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field; graduate after January 2024.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of The Nutrition Care Process.
• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients per standards.
• Lead care team in development and implementation of nutrition plan of care.
• Communicate with patients and health care team in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide guidance in The Nutrition Care Process and manage nutrition therapy per provider orders.
• Evaluate nutrition therapies for quality and safety with other professionals.
• Precept Dietetic Interns.
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and provide educational programs for clients, students, employees and community.
