How You'll Serve Our Patients

The Clinical Dietitian II provides medical nutrition therapy to patients recovering from an eating disorder, including educating patients and families on meal plans and nutritional needs.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with eating disorders by assessing nutritional status, establishing a meal plan necessary to improve nutritional status, and evaluating the patient's response to the plan.
  • Provides individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or families to establish and achieve nutritional goals.
  • Completes documentation of interventions, individual and family sessions, and meal plans.
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate treatment plans. Attends team meetings and rounds to serve as the nutrition expert resource.
  • Facilitates experiential groups, which may include restaurant outings, food preparation, and cooking groups (as applicable), as well as assists in providing meal and snack support and supervision.
Must Haves
  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • 2 or more years of experience as an RD working with eating disorders.
  • National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) - Required
  • Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration - Required
  • A valid US driver license - Required
Bonus Qualities
  • Graduate Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field of study - Preferred
  • Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law - Preferred
