Job summary

Morrison Healthcare at Providence Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a PRN per diem inpatient role. Inpatient setting, M-F and rotating weekends; $30–$35/hour. Must be RDN or eligible per CDR, licensed in the state.

Your work includes Medical Nutrition Therapy, nutrition education for adult patients, cross-covering pediatric as needed, and supporting clinical care with evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Clinical nutrition care: assess patients and develop care plans
• Education: guide patients, families, staff on nutrition and lifestyle
• Evidence-based practice: apply latest research per policy and protocol
• Quality & performance improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives
• Collaboration & service excellence: work with food service to meet patient goals
• Mentorship & professional development: support growth of staff and interns
