Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy across the adult patient population in an inpatient setting. This PRN/per diem role offers flexible M-F coverage with rotating weekends and opportunities to cross-cover pediatric patients as needed.

You’ll deliver evidence-based nutrition care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to support recovery and outcomes. PRN duties require RDN credentials.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or eligible to obtain) in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle to patients, families, staff, and community.
• Apply evidence-based practice in alignment with diet manual and facility protocols.
• Contribute to quality and performance improvement initiatives (QAPI).
• Collaborate with food service management to support patient satisfaction and care goals.
• Mentor and develop dietetic interns and staff where applicable.
