Job summary

ERC Pathlight is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy for patients recovering from eating disorders. You will educate patients and families on meal plans and nutritional needs, working within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate treatment plans.

Ideal candidates have a current RD/RDN credential and state licensure, with 0–2 years of RD experience required and 2+ years with eating disorders for higher levels.

Qualifications

• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; certification of RD preferred.
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license as required by state law.
• 0–2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (Required).
• 2+ years of RD experience with eating disorders (for II/ Sr levels) incl. certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with eating disorders; assesses status and develops meal plans.
• Offers individualized nutrition counseling to patients and families to meet goals.
• Documents interventions, sessions and meal plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and attends meetings to coordinate care.
• Facilitates experiential groups and supports meal and snack planning when applicable.

Whatyou’llbe doing:

The Clinical Dietitian provides medical nutrition therapy to patients who are recovering from an eating disorder, including educating patients and families on meal plans and nutritional needs.

Essential duties andresponsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with eating disorders by assessing nutritional status, establishing a meal plan necessary to improve nutritional status and evaluating patient's response to the plan
• Provides individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or families to establish and achieve nutritional goals
• Completes documentation of interventions, individual and family sessions and meal plans
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate treatment plans. Attends team meetings and team rounds to serve as the nutrition expert resource
• Facilitates experiential groups, which may include restaurant outings, food preparation and cooking groups (as applicable), as well as assists in providing meal and snack support and supervision

Clinical Dietitian I musthaves:

• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required)
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law (Required)
• 0-2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (Required)

Clinical Dietitian II musthaves:

• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required)

Sr. Clinical Dietitian III must haves:

• Bachelor’s degree (Required), Graduate degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field (Preferred)
• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required)
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law (Required)
• 5 or more years of experience as an RD working with eating disorders. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) (Required)
• CEDRD, CDE, CSSD, or CNSC (Preferred)

The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.

$60,000 - $75,000 USD
