Job summary

CHI Health Immanuel in North Omaha is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to deliver expert nutrition care and develop individualized plans to improve patient health outcomes. You will clearly communicate nutrition data across systems and participate in health team meetings as the resident nutrition expert.

This role demands robust clinical expertise, empathetic, evidence-based care, and adherence to professional standards while fostering effective communication with patients and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Dietetics from ACEND-accredited program.
• Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in Nebraska (NE).
• Experience in acute care hospital or similar setting handling complex populations.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for nutritional risk and assess using age, gender, cultural factors.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans and interventions.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans; document in medical records.
• Collaborate with Food and Nutrition Services and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide education to patients and families on nutrition and care plans.
