The Clinical Dietitian II delivers advanced medical nutrition therapy and education to patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance clinical outcomes. This role prioritizes patient care based on nutritional risk and supports Harris Health's mission to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The Clinical Dietitian II documents care using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP), ensures regulatory compliance, contributes to department and system initiatives, trains new staff and interns, and serves as a key resource within the department.
Masters of Dietetics, Food Science or Nutrition; In accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, starting January 1, 2024, individuals who are seeking eligibility for the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) examination for the first time must have completed at least a graduate degree from a U.S. regionally accredited institution or a foreign equivalent.
Two (2) years experience in Dietetics/Nutrition; PhD in a nutrition-related field may count for two (2) years of experience.
