Qualifications

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for providing leadership in establishing standards of practice for nutritional care and serving as a consultant to clinical dietitians, physicians and other health professionals, providing direct patient care and being responsible for needs assessment, program development and evaluation, in-service education, medical staff education and nutrition research.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Master's degree required unless exempted by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or certification.
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist required (CDR).
  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (Pennsylvania) required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the dietetics field required (or seven (7) if no Master's degree).
