Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Nutrition or Dietetics required; Master's accepted by CDRE/CRD pathway preferred.
• Registered Dietitian or Registry eligible within six months of hire.
• Responder Certification – American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (HCP) required; AHA certification prior to orientation.
• West Virginia licensure or eligibility if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutrition risk and medically necessary needs of patients; provide discipline-specific interventions through the nutrition care process.
• Be responsive to physician consults and participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver nutrition therapy timely and in accordance with evidence-based practice, documentation, billing guidelines.
• Identify educational needs, maintain professional competence, and explore opportunities for program development and process improvement initiatives.
