Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health's Baylor Grapevine Medical Center in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Clinical Dietitian I to provide nutrition therapy and education to patients, families, and the community. Responsibilities include nutrition assessments, care plan development, and patient counseling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs nutritional assessment of patients and develops care plans.
• Provides individual or group nutrition counseling and documents in the medical record.
• Develops and delivers educational programs for patients, families, staff, dietetic interns, or community groups.
• Conducts research and develops proposals to obtain grant funding and presents on topics.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning to optimize patient care.
• Maintains knowledge through literature and professional development.
