$47,361.60/hr - $77,126.40/hr

Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering medical, surgical, critical, and emergency care, including pediatric emergency care, diagnostic and treatment services, and heart and vascular care. It is accredited as a Chest Pain Center with PCI and designated as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital. It is also a Lung Cancer Screening Center and has Magnet recognition for nursing excellence.

Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94-bed hospital with private suites, provides emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services, and critical care. It received Magnet status in 2018.

Role Purpose

The registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) provides medical nutrition therapy, conducts assessments, interventions, education, discharge planning, and care coordination to address prevention and treatment of conditions. This is an entry-level position focused on meeting basic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify nutrition problems, determine diagnosis, prioritize interventions, document care plans, and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure understanding of nutrition support therapy, evaluate its effectiveness.
• Review research and evidence for practice application.
• Share evidence-based knowledge tailored to customer needs.
• Optimize workflow for better patient outcomes.
• This position is safety-sensitive; the ability to work alertly and safely is essential.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Master's Degree
• Experience: None required
• Supervisor Experience: None required
• Licenses & Certifications: Dietitian License for State Employment, Registered Dietitian
