Job summary

Compass Group's TouchPoint unit in Detroit, MI is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. You will work with a collaborative team to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

You’ll assess patients, develop care plans, and educate patients, families, staff, and the community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies, with opportunities for education, leadership development, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting.
• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients, families, staff, and the community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies.
• Apply evidence-based practice in alignment with policies and protocols.
• Support quality initiatives and collaborate with the food service management team.
