Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to provide nutritional care for patients of all ages under the supervision of the dietitian.

The role requires RD certification, ADA supervised practice completion, and a Bachelor's in Food and Nutrition. Sign-on bonus is available and benefits include competitive compensation and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) with CDR.
• Completion of ADA supervised practice requirements.
• Maintains Certification in Food Service Sanitation as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nutrition care as prescribed by physicians.
• Supervise and support dietetic assistants under dietitian oversight.
• Collaborate with food service to ensure therapeutic diets are prepared correctly.

Position Description

To provide food and nutritional care appropriate for all ages including infant, toddlers, pre-school, school age, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients as prescribed by physicians and under the direct supervision of the dietitian for age appropriate food items. Sign-On Bonus Available!

Requirements

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.
• Completion of all academic and supervised practice requirements as set forth by the American Dietetic Association (ADA) with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a dietitian (RD), and any certifications as may be required by the state.
• Maintains Certification in Food Service Sanitation by the Department of Health.
