Job summary

Morrison Healthcare in Oxford, MS is hiring a part-time/per diem Clinical Dietitian to deliver Medical Nutrition Therapy in an acute care setting. You will assess nutrition needs of inpatients and outpatients, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Education: Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable wellness for patients, families, staff, and the community.
• Evidence-Based Practice: Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
• Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
• Collaboration & Service Excellence: Partner with the food service management team to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Mentorship & Professional Development: Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.
