Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Clinical Dietitian to provide expert nutrition care and develop individualized plans to improve patient health outcomes.

You will communicate nutritional data across systems and participate in health team meetings as the resident nutrition expert. Responsibilities include nutrition assessments, implementing interventions, and collaborating with Food and Nutrition Services to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or ACEND-accredited program completed upon hire.
• Registered Dietitian within 90 days or equivalent certification as required.
• Ability to communicate nutrition care plans across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform nutritional assessments using age, gender and cultural considerations and validated tools.
• Implement targeted nutrition interventions and provide education to patients and families.
• Develop nutrition plans with feeding routes and prescriptions aligned to physician orders.
• Collaborate with Food and Nutrition Services to ensure diet orders and patient experience.
