Job summary

Elior North America seeks an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients/residents, initiate nutrition interventions, and work to improve quality of life aligned with each patient’s goals.

You will provide nutritional education to the care team, follow professional standards and regulatory requirements, and participate in nutrition-related policy development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Passed the national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
