Responsibilities

Palmdale Regional Medical Center serves the region by providing high-quality medical services to residents of the Antelope Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and surrounding communities. The Rehabilitation Institute within the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds, inpatient and outpatient surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, cardiac services including a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack), and a 35-bed 24-hour emergency department. Essential Job Duties:

To provide food and nutritional care appropriate for all ages, including infants, toddlers, pre-school, school-age, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, as prescribed by physicians and under the direct supervision of the dietitian, ensuring age-appropriate food items.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Two or more years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.
• Completion of all academic and supervised practice requirements as set forth by the American Dietetic Association (ADA), with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
• Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a dietitian (RD), and any certifications required by the state.
• Maintains Certification in Food Service Sanitation by the Department of Health.
