An established industry player is seeking a Clinical Dietitian to enhance patient care through effective nutritional planning and education. This role involves direct patient interaction, monitoring dietary compliance, and collaborating with various departments to ensure optimal nutritional health. The Clinical Dietitian will also contribute to staff training and professional representation of the organization. The primary responsibility of the Clinical Dietitian is to plan, organize, direct and evaluate all phases of patient nutritional care, including patient therapy and education. Other responsibilities include monitoring the nutritional health of patients to see that dietary recommendations are being followed, encouraging patients to eat and counseling patients and families on nutritional modifications. The Clinical Dietitian proactively works with all related departments (medical, nursing, pharmacy, etc.) conducting nutritional screenings and assessments, and prepares plans and evaluation techniques according to the standards of care. In addition, the Clinical Dietitian is involved with staff training, orientation of new dietitians, continuing education and representing UF Health Central Florida professionally and ethically as required.
Non-Essential duties may include filling in other roles/positions as necessary or any other duties as assigned by a manager.
